CONFERENCE ROOM AVAILABLE TO PUBLIC

 

The conference room at the library is a great place for the members of the community to hold meetings, classes, and other events.  Just call the library at 226-3915 and ask about the room’s availability.  The following rules apply to the use of the conference room.

 

  1. NO MORE THAN TWENTY FIVE (25) PEOPLE IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM FOR ANY MEETING. 
  2. Preference of booking dates will be given to residents of the Assumption Public Library District.  Arrangements are to be made with the Librarian.
  3. A charge of five dollars ($5.00) will be required.  Payment is to be paid at the time of booking.  Fee waived upon board discretion.
  4. THE ONLY AREAS IN THE LIBRARY TO BE USED BY ANY GROUP WILL BE THE CONFERENCE ROOM AND THE REST ROOMS.  Any other arrangements must be approved by the Board of Trustees.
  5. The person making the arrangement for the meeting will be responsible for any damages made, for turning off lights and locking the doors upon leaving the library.
  6. Only previously prepared food will be permitted, except when arrangements have been made for a food demonstration.
  7. Only those attending meeting should be in building.
  8. Telephone use is for local calls only.
  9. Library will note store any items that do not belong to them.
