Children in preschool through grade eight are encouraged to participate in the Summer Reading Program.

The library maintain a copy of the school's Reading Count List and marks books for easy access.

Classroom Visits
Teachers are invited to bring classes for a guided tour of the library.

Award Winning Books
Caldecott, Newbery, Monarch and Rebecca Caudill book nominees are purchased each year.

Information is provided and access explained for the Blind and Physical Handicapped talking book service.
